The Best, Most Caring Pet Sitters

Waggity Tails is dedicated to contracting only the most caring and qualified pet lovers around. We run each sitter through an extensive screening.

How do we hire our Pet Sitters?

Step 1: A face to face interview, a thorough background check on each prospective pet sitter.
Step 2: We call all professional references supplied to us by the contractor.
Step 3: We make follow-up phone calls to our clients to make sure that they are satisfied with the work done by their Pet Sitter.
Step 4: We continue to run ongoing evaluations of each sitter to assure that they are adhering to the standards of Waggity Tails.

Hello! My name is Lisa and as the office manager, I am here to assist you and the Waggity Tails team in any way I can. When I first learned about Waggity Tails, I knew immediately it was the perfect fit for me. As a passionate animal-lover and the owner of a big, adorable Labradoodle named Mickey, I understand how stressful it can be to find and trust someone to care for your pet in the same way you would. Pets are part of our family and when we can’t be there to spoil them, we want the next best thing. This is why I am so excited to be a part of the Waggity Tails crew. We here at Waggity Tails know it takes a special person to take care of a very special pet. It is so rewarding to help support such an exceptional group of loving, compassionate caregivers who will give your pets the special attention they deserve. Please feel free to contact me if I can help in any way.

Pet Sitting is an absolute passion of mine. I fully enjoy making a positive impact on the lives of people and their pets. Animals have been bringing love, joy, and inspiration into my life for as long as I can remember. Giving them back all of that love, joy and inspiration is my mission in life. I have over 13 years of experience independently caring for and handling a wide variety of animals. I am here to care for your pets, be it dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, reptiles and everything in between!I currently own 2 dogs and 1 parrot. During my free time, I volunteer for a local animal rescue organization, read, hike, take photographs, and of course, spend time with my pets!

When I heard about Waggity Tails and what they do for families and their pets, it seemed to be a perfect fit. I love my pets and know how hard it is find people I trust to watch them. As a child I grew up knowing the love and friendship of my dogs. As a parent, I wanted our children to have the same experience. At the moment our family has an African Dwarf frog, a Beta fish named Midnight, and a Welsh Corgi named Missy. Our dog came to us almost 7 years ago from a breeder who lived nearby and ever since, we have “dog sat” for each other. The comfort I feel when my pets are well cared for is what I want to bring to you and your pets. Over the years, friends have asked us to “pet sit” their animals. We have cared for bunnies, turtles, hermit crabs, fish and dogs. I can’t wait to play, walk and love your animal(s) the same way I would if they were mine. I’m looking forward to meeting you, your family and especially your precious pet(s).

Animals have always been a passion of mine, and throughout my life, I have always had a dog, and various other pets. From previous employment, I was able to gain the knowledge and experience of caring for other animals from ferrets, to geckos, and everything in between. Currently, I am a pet parent to two beagles, three birds, and freshwater fish. Because of the compassion that I have for animals, I am the one that my friends trust to provide the extra care for their pets when they are unable to. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than being able to assure a friend or client that their pet is in the care of someone who will treat them as if it was their own.

Hello, my name is Emily. I love animals!!! I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Animal Behavior. I’ve worked at various Veterinary Hospitals for 7 years and feel very comfortable handling pets of all sizes. I also have done pet sitting since a young age. I am very reliable and trustworthy. I would love to take care of your pets with Waggity Tails. I would treat them with all the love and cuddles as I would my very own pets!

I have spent my entire life surrounded by dogs! I started my own non profit animal rescue organization when I was 16 years old. That is where my true passion lies, in animal rescue. I am the person who always pulls over when she sees any animal in need! I have experience caring for dogs of all types and temperaments. At home I have 5 rescued pets of my own, an 8 year old pit bull and a 7 year old boxer, along with 3 cats. I love to have animals involved in my life so pet sitting and dog walking is an amazing job to me!

True to my name, I’m never “Dunn” taking care of pets! I love all animals and believe our pets are a part of the family. I have even cared for a tarantula! In 2014 our family made the decision to start fostering dogs for Operation Paws for Homes (OPH). We have fostered over fifty dogs and don’t plan on stopping any time soon! While fostering I have taken care of dogs with medical needs, behavioral issues and even newborn puppies. The experience I have gained while fostering will be instrumental in making me a pawsitively perfect sitter for your pet! I’ve always been an avid animal lover and when I’m not busy volunteering with OPH, I spend my time at home with my family and three dogs, Vollmer, Diamond, Gronk and our cat KC. You can rest assured that I will care and show love to your pet just as I would my own pets! I look forward to meeting all of you and spending time with your four-legged friends!

Hi, I’m Mary-Rina, and I can’t wait to get to know you and your pet! I have been a caregiver all my life. I took care of my father as a teen, worked as a caseworker for The Salvation Army, and for the last 16 years I have been a stay-at-home mother to two wonderful sons. Recently, I have also taken on the role of caregiver for my aging mother. Our home is full of love and there is always room for one more. My husband and I have a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Rosie. She is the light of my life! Cavaliers were bred to be companions and that is exactly what she is. She is my shadow and loves to follow me around during the day. I love taking care of her and having her be part of our family. We also have a Ragdoll cat who has adopted the dog ways of companionship. She is the sweetest cat, we call her Snowball because she is so fluffy and and white. Rosie and Snowball get along so well. They even share a dog bed together. I have witnessed first hand how animals can help people with disabilities, depression and recovery from illness. Pets have a calming effect on people and give unconditional love. The love a pet is so genuine and pure. I can’t wait to meet your special family pet.

Hello fellow pet lovers! I am so honored to work with you and your beloved pets. Animals of all kinds have always been in my life. I dote on them and believe they are all a blessing. I have been a stay-at-home mom for many years and have added several furry creatures into our family. We have: 2 bulldog-boxer mixes, a pug, a tortoiseshell cat, 5 chickens, 4 pot-bellied pigs and many koi fish. My days start and end with caring for and loving them all. We added our 3 dogs as puppies in one year. That was quite a busy time! While they grew and challenges were presented, I learned a great deal about consistently handling little ones. I am a huge believer in daily walks and walk our dogs every morning. Three years ago we adopted two pigs. After having so much fun with them, we recently adopted two piglets from a sanctuary where I volunteer. As you can see, I am happily surrounded by animals and can’t wait to meet yours!!

Hello! My name is Heather. By nature I've always been a helper and a caregiver. I have a bachelor’s degree in psychology and I've previously worked as a mental health counselor and a social worker at a nursing home. For the past 5 years I've been a stay-at- home mom to an amazing little girl. Now that she's in kindergarten I'm thrilled to join Waggity Tails and spend my days providing loving care to your pets. I have always loved and felt a special connection with animals. I grew up with a Toy Poodle mix, and we also had a bunny, gerbils, a mouse, and a parakeet throughout my youth. Today my family and I have one cat, Trixie, whom we adopted from an animal rescue organization. Over the last 18 years I've owned 4 other cats who all adopted me, as they made their way into my life as strays. Two of them developed significant health problems as they aged and required extra care and support which I was happy to give in exchange for the love and happiness they'd given to me over the years. I've done pet sitting for friends and family and, in addition to cats, I've cared for several breeds of dog including Labrador, Beagle, Rat Terrier, Pekingese, and Shih Tzu. I look forward to getting to know you and to providing exceptional care for your beloved pets.
