The Best, Most Caring Pet Sitters

Waggity Tails is dedicated to contracting only the most caring and qualified pet lovers around. We run each sitter through an extensive screening.

How do we hire our Pet Sitters?

Step 1: A face to face interview, a thorough background check on each prospective pet sitter.
Step 2: We call all professional references supplied to us by the contractor.
Step 3: We make follow-up phone calls to our clients to make sure that they are satisfied with the work done by their Pet Sitter.
Step 4: We continue to run ongoing evaluations of each sitter to assure that they are adhering to the standards of Waggity Tails.

Hello! My name is Lisa and as the office manager, I am here to assist you and the Waggity Tails team in any way I can. When I first learned about Waggity Tails, I knew immediately it was the perfect fit for me. As a passionate animal-lover and the owner of a big, adorable Labradoodle named Mickey, I understand how stressful it can be to find and trust someone to care for your pet in the same way you would. Pets are part of our family and when we can’t be there to spoil them, we want the next best thing. This is why I am so excited to be a part of the Waggity Tails crew. We here at Waggity Tails know it takes a special person to take care of a very special pet. It is so rewarding to help support such an exceptional group of loving, compassionate caregivers who will give your pets the special attention they deserve. Please feel free to contact me if I can help in any way.

When I heard about Waggity Tails and what they do for families and their pets, it seemed to be a perfect fit. I love my pets and know how hard it is find people I trust to watch them. As a child I grew up knowing the love and friendship of my dogs. As a parent, I wanted our children to have the same experience. At the moment our family has an African Dwarf frog, a Beta fish named Midnight, and a Welsh Corgi named Missy. Our dog came to us almost 7 years ago from a breeder who lived nearby and ever since, we have “dog sat” for each other. The comfort I feel when my pets are well cared for is what I want to bring to you and your pets. Over the years, friends have asked us to “pet sit” their animals. We have cared for bunnies, turtles, hermit crabs, fish and dogs. I can’t wait to play, walk and love your animal(s) the same way I would if they were mine. I’m looking forward to meeting you, your family and especially your precious pet(s).

Animals have always been a passion of mine, and throughout my life, I have always had a dog, and various other pets. From previous employment, I was able to gain the knowledge and experience of caring for other animals from ferrets, to geckos, and everything in between. Currently, I am a pet parent to two beagles, three birds, and freshwater fish. Because of the compassion that I have for animals, I am the one that my friends trust to provide the extra care for their pets when they are unable to. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than being able to assure a friend or client that their pet is in the care of someone who will treat them as if it was their own.

Emily

Hello, my name is Emily. I love animals!!! I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Animal Behavior. I’ve worked at various Veterinary Hospitals for 7 years and feel very comfortable handling pets of all sizes. I also have done pet sitting since a young age. I am very reliable and trustworthy. I would love to take care of your pets with Waggity Tails. I would treat them with all the love and cuddles as I would my very own pets!

Morgan

I have spent my entire life surrounded by dogs! I started my own non profit animal rescue organization when I was 16 years old. That is where my true passion lies, in animal rescue. I am the person who always pulls over when she sees any animal in need! I have experience caring for dogs of all types and temperaments. At home I have 5 rescued pets of my own, an 8 year old pit bull and a 7 year old boxer, along with 3 cats. I love to have animals involved in my life so pet sitting and dog walking is an amazing job to me!

Jennifer

True to my name, I’m never “Dunn” taking care of pets! I love all animals and believe our pets are a part of the family. I have even cared for a tarantula! In 2014 our family made the decision to start fostering dogs for Operation Paws for Homes (OPH). We have fostered over fifty dogs and don’t plan on stopping any time soon! While fostering I have taken care of dogs with medical needs, behavioral issues and even newborn puppies. The experience I have gained while fostering will be instrumental in making me a pawsitively perfect sitter for your pet! I’ve always been an avid animal lover and when I’m not busy volunteering with OPH, I spend my time at home with my family and three dogs, Vollmer, Diamond, Gronk and our cat KC. You can rest assured that I will care and show love to your pet just as I would my own pets! I look forward to meeting all of you and spending time with your four-legged friends!

Hi, I’m Mary-Rina, and I can’t wait to get to know you and your pet! I have been a caregiver all my life. I took care of my father as a teen, worked as a caseworker for The Salvation Army, and for the last 16 years I have been a stay-at-home mother to two wonderful sons. Recently, I have also taken on the role of caregiver for my aging mother. Our home is full of love and there is always room for one more. My husband and I have a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel named Rosie. She is the light of my life! Cavaliers were bred to be companions and that is exactly what she is. She is my shadow and loves to follow me around during the day. I love taking care of her and having her be part of our family. We also have a Ragdoll cat who has adopted the dog ways of companionship. She is the sweetest cat, we call her Snowball because she is so fluffy and and white. Rosie and Snowball get along so well. They even share a dog bed together. I have witnessed first hand how animals can help people with disabilities, depression and recovery from illness. Pets have a calming effect on people and give unconditional love. The love a pet is so genuine and pure. I can’t wait to meet your special family pet.

I grew up around dogs, cats, horses, etc. I have been pet-sitting for friends and family for years, with animals ranging from a Jerry, a cockatiel, to Ruben, a Great Dane Mastiff mix, pictured in the photo. They all have personalities and energy levels of their own. I recently left corporate America to pursue my joy in caring for animals. I was very happy to find Waggity Tails, a conscientious and caring service.

Hello, I’m Jessie. I have been around animals my entire life. Dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, birds, you name it I’ve probably raised it. I am currently the proud fur-mom to my Bengal cat and my 2 rescue dogs. Lulu is a sweet Shepard-Boxer mix and Maclin is my lovable Pit-bull mix. I am a rescue and Pit-bull activist. I have
always wanted to work with animals but I cannot stand lots of blood so being a vet was out. After being a hairstylist for 13 years, I knew I needed more in my life and that is when I discovered Waggity Tails. I knew it was exactly what I needed. I have always been the pet-sitter my friends and family call on when they go out of town because they know I always put the pets first. I have always been very picky myself, about who cares for my pets while I am away. I want my “babies” to be treated just as well and get just as much love and attention as if I were home with them. That is the kind of service I want to provide for you. I want you to feel relaxed knowing that your pet is being loved and cared for just as if you were home.

Hi everyone! My name is Caitlin and I’m so excited to meet you and your furry friend! Growing up I had 5 dogs and they were my entire world. I have always loved animals and have always been passionate about taking care of them! When I heard about Waggity Tails I was so excited to join this awesome team and was so thrilled to be able to give the best love and attention to other pets! Right now I have two cats, Ellie and Jethro, and they are as sweet as can be! I have taken care of a wide variety of pets within the last couple of years including dogs, chickens, ferrets, guinea pigs, and turtles. My passion for animals is something I’m so excited to share with you all! I can’t wait to meet you and your awesome pet!

Growing up, I was always the one to bring home a stray animal in need, or have my parents pull over to help a lost animal. Now, as a mom, my kids and I still do the same thing! I’ve always been around various dogs, from regal Dobermans to lovely mixed breeds, with some guinea pigs, fish, and rabbits in between. I currently have a loving 16- year-old beagle mix whose spirit for long walks is much greater than her aging body can tolerate. We’ve also adopted three kittens (one is now a cat) from the Humane Society, for whom we foster. We’ve loved on and cared for many dogs, mama cats, and both well and sick kittens, helping them find their forever homes. Along the way I’ve taken classes and gained personal experience in caring for many different animals. One thing they’ve all seemed to have in common is the desire to feel safe, be loved, and have personal attention. I’m always more than happy to oblige. Personally, I am an elementary school teacher who has chosen to stay home and raise her family. I am currently a volunteer at two rescue facilities helping with both dogs and cats. Now, when I’m not loving on human babies in a local nursery, or furry babies at a shelter, I’m welcoming the chance to love on some new furry friends.

Hello, my name is Patti, and I can’t wait to meet you and your pets. I love animals in all shapes and sizes, but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I am a proud owner of three loving dogs
Sherman, Lulu and Oscar that are my best “pug” friends. I understand the importance of
exercise for pets, and make sure, rain or shine, to take them on daily walks.
For the past 10 years I have been a stay-at- home mom, but I have always wanted to work with
animals. When I heard about Waggity Tails I knew that it would be a great opportunity to do
what I love the most….spend time with animals. I will go above and beyond my responsibilities
to make sure I provide the same care to your pets that I provide to mine. Animals have given
me so much unconditional love, that I truly cherish my time taking care of them.
I can’t wait to walk, run, play and spend time with your pet(s)!”

Hi! My name is Georgianna. I live in Long Bar Harbor in Abingdon. I have two fur babies, Hershey & Taffy… yes, there seems to be a candy theme! Hershey is a 15-year-old cocker spaniel… 105 in human years, but she doesn’t even know she’s old! Her favorite thing is food. Taffy is a 2-year-old Labrador retriever. She is a non-stop ball of energy, and her favorite thing is a tennis ball.
I’ve cared for many cats and dogs, but I’ve also cared for an iguana, hamsters, pet mice, and fish. No job too big or small… just ask! I will care for your pets as if they are my own!

Hi, my name is Holly, and I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! I have been around pets my entire life and am current pet mom to 2 dogs, a cat, a bunny and 2 fish! When I was a child we had a pet raccoon and since then we have had birds, a turtle, hamsters and hermit crabs. I have a wonderful husband and 3 beautiful children who also share my passion for animals. I am a Registered Nurse and discovered Waggity Tails when I wanted to have someone come to give my pups a mid-day break. It was such a wonderful relief to know that they were being given such great TLC and I knew immediately that it was a great fit for me! I promise that I will love and care for your pet just as I care for my own!

Hello everyone! My name is Kim, and I am so looking forward to meeting and working with all of our Waggity Tail furry clients. I’ve never NOT had a pet in my life and currently have 6 pets who are all rescues. My family is ruled by a 14 year old Shepherd, two very stubborn basset hounds and 3 cats who all have their very own distinct personalities. I also have 3 kids ages 7, 9 and 11. I guess you could say 3 is one of my favorite numbers! In my former life, I worked in Compliance, Ethics and Anti-Corruption fields for a major Defense Contractor and then a non-profit organization before becoming a stay at home mom 8 years ago. My true desire though, has always been to work with animals. When I learned about Waggity Tails I knew this would be the perfect opportunity for me to pursue that true passion! I am excited to meet your pets and provide the care and TLC they deserve.

Angie

Hello! My name is Angie and I am very excited to be a part of the team at Waggity Tails. I have an extreme passion for all animals and I absolutely love caring for them. Waggity Tails sounded like the perfect fit for me and I will treat your pets with the same love I give my own. I currently have two dogs who bring me constant joy!! Bella is my very talkative Siberian Husky and her personality is as beautiful as she is. Bailey is our sweet and cuddly mixed breed. We rescued her as a puppy and are not sure what her mix is but we are thinking definitely some Pit and maybe Lab. She is amazing and our fur babies are always treated with enormous amounts of love. It is hard to get them to stay still for a picture with me, so it is not perfect but I wanted everyone to be able to see my sweet pups!! My three children and husband could definitely concur how much these dogs mean to our family! My dream has always been to own acres of land and provide a home to as many animals that I can. I hope that can be a reality someday. I would have many more pets now, but my husband reminds me that we need to also help the children with college. Oh well, I will keep working on that! I know one thing for certain and that is I will never be without pets in my life and in my home! They bring so much happiness. I have done plenty of pet sitting for neighbors and friends over the years and am very comfortable with animals. I am always happy to help! I completely understand how stressful it is finding someone to trust to care for your pets when you need. I go through that myself and I check up on them just as I would with my kids. I am excited to meet you and your cherished pets and please know that I will give them wonderful care and love always.

My personal pet roster currently includes an American Mastiff, a Siberian cat, gerbils, a mouse and fish. As a self declared pet enthusiast, I have always had dogs and cats (among other small house and farm animals). One of my many jobs during college was a year working as the "closer" for a veterinary hospital. I cleaned kennels, bathed animals; flea dipped animals, administered medications and sanitized the entire building. As I was the last human contact the animals had for the evening, I always made sure they had as much love and comfort as possible. Though it was a paying job, it was more a labor of love. This is a fast paced world we live in and our faithful companions sometimes need us a little more than time allows. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to fill that gap for a pet and his/her loving, responsible owner. I give every animal I come in contact with the same love and respect I offer to my own fur-babies. I look forward to meeting your pet and offering you peace of mind that your faithful companion is well tended in your absence.
